The Institute for Whole Systems Design

The Institute for Whole Systems Design (IWSD) serves Antioch University Seattle's educational priorities which include service to the community and enhancement of student's learning experiences. This mission is accomplished through sponsorship of public events, consulting services, and structured inquiry. The IWSD also serves to promote using a systems perspective and design action in human affairs.

IWSD gives faculty, students and alumni the opportunity to collaborate with one another and with other professionals and scholars who share the whole systems design approach. It is also a vehicle for faculty and alumni research and consultation and gives advanced Whole Systems Design students and alumni the opportunity to present their work to the scholarly community and to the general public.
